HRD 분야 국내 학술지 논문 인용과 피인용 자료를 활용한 HRD의 학제성 탐색

본 연구는 국내 HRD 분야가 어떤 학문 분야에 영향을 받고 있고 또 어떤 분야에 영향을 주고 있는지 학제성의 양상을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위한 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 HRD 연구자들이 인용한 논문과 그 논문이 속한 학문 분야는 무엇이며 이를 통한 학제성의 양상은 어떠한가? 둘째, HRD 국내 학술지에 출판된 논문이 인용된 학문 분야는 무엇이며 이를 통한 학제성의 양상은 어떠한가? 셋째, HRD 국내 학술지 피인용 상위 20위의 논문들이 인용된 학문 분야는 무엇이며 학제성의 양상은 어떠한가? 본 연구를 위해 연구자들은 한국연구재단에 자료를 요청하여 2022년 2월 기준으로 HRD 관련 학술지 7종에 실린 논문 정보를 엑셀 파일로 제공받았다. 제공받은 총 2,360편의 논문 관련 자료 중 연구자 간 검토를 통해 분석 대상에서 제외할 논문들을 정리한 후 1,514편을 최종 분석 논문으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과 국내 HRD 연구자들은 교육학과 경영학 연구를 가장 많이 인용하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 HRD 연구물 또한 교육학과 경영학에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. HRD 분야 피인용 상위 20위 논문에 대한 분석 결과에서도 HRD는 교육학과 경영학에 영향을 가장 많이 받고 또 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 HRD가 심리학 분야와 느슨하게 연결되어 있음을 시사하며, HRD의 학문적 영역에 있어서 평생교육과 직업교육이라는 인접 분야와의 관계를 이해하는 계기를 제공하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the interdisciplinary nature of HRD by examining the influence of other disciplines on HRD research and HRD’s influence on other disciplines. Our research questions were the following: 1) Which disciplines serve as theoretical foundations for the HRD? 2) Which disciplines does HRD research influence? 3) In which disciplines are the top 20 frequently cited HRD articles? We conducted a citation analysis of articles published in seven different Korean HRD journals. After reviewing 1,514 articles and their references, we provided an overview of the various disciplines contributing to the HRD field; moreover, the analysis revealed HRD research’s on other disciplines. HRD research has relied mainly on the management and education fields, and also has influenced on these two fields the most. Additionally, although many HRD scholars have argued that psychology is the foundation of HRD research, our citation analysis revealed that psychology was only loosely related to the HRD field. We discuss the theoretical implications of our findings with respect to HRD’s interdisciplinary nature.
