교사의 인권인식에 영향을 주는 인권교육 연수 변인 분석

The purpose of this study is to identify the variables related to human rights education training related to teachers’ perception of human rights in order to find effective ways to train human rights education for school teachers. The independent variable was set as the details of human rights education training for teachers(training content, training method, etc.), and the dependent variable was set as the teacher’s human rights awareness (human rights education efficacy, comprehension of documents related to student human rights, and judgment on the situation related to student human rights). Regression analysis was conducted using data surveyed on 4,300 teachers nationwide with experience in human rights education and training. The results of the study are as follows. First, the contents of the training, which are statistically significant to teachers’ perception of human rights, were ‘understanding human rights of the socially disadvantaged’ and ‘respecting student human rights and practicing advocacy’, and all of these variables were found to have a positive effect. In addition, statistically significantly related training contents were found to be different for each sub-item of teacher’s perception of human rights. Second, it was found that both the case of voluntarily participating in human rights education training and the case of personally studying human rights were positively related to the teacher’s perception of human rights. Considering this, the training content should be set in consideration of the purpose of human rights education training for teachers, and it is necessary to find ways to increase teachers’ voluntary participation in training.
