본 연구는 코로나19 상황으로 인한 청소년을 둘러싼 환경변화와 문제를 분석하여 청소년의 인권보호를 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년이 경험하는 코로나19로 인한 어려움과 가족관계, 학업스트레스의 관계를 검증하였다. 연구참여자는 경기도와 충청도에 거주하는 청소년 1,878명이었으며, 연구는 2021년 7월 1일부터 2021년 10월 30일까지 진행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 코로나19로 인한 어려움과 학업스트레스에서 남녀 간 평균 차이가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 코로나19로 인한 어려움과 가족관계를 학업 스트레스가 매개하는지 검증하였다. 코로나19로 인한 어려움은 학업스트레스에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 두 번째 회귀식에서 학업스트레스가 가족관계에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 코로나19로 인한 어려움이 가족관계에 미치는 영향은 학업스트레스가 투입되면서 감소하여 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제언 및 의의와 한계, 후속연구를 위한 논의를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study attempted to find a way to protect the human rights of adolescents by analyzing environmental changes and problems surrounding adolescents due to the situation of COVID-19. To this end, the relationship between COVID-19 difficulties experienced by adolescents, family relationships, and academic stress was verified. The study participants were 1,878 adolescents living in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do, and the study was conducted from July 1, 2021 to October 30, 2021. The findings are as follows. First, it was found that the average difference between men and women in COVID-19 difficulties and academic stress was statistically significant. Second, it was verified whether academic stress was mediated in the family relationship with COVID-19. It was found that academic stress was partially mediated in the effect of COVID-19 difficulties on family relationships. Based on these research results, the suggestions and significance and limitations of this study, and discussions for follow-up studies were presented.
