In line with the international trend, Korean companies are changing their strategy from maximizing short-term profit to increasing their ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) ability as the basis for sustainable development. In line with the international trend, Korean companies are changing their strategy from maximizing short-term profit to increasing their ESG ability as the basis for sustainable development. This paper empirically examines the perception of the dangerous goods TMS used by dangerous goods carriers by analyzing how the dangerous goods transport information system affects the improvement of ESG. We collected 185 surveys and tested hypotheses, using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that implementing dangerous goods TMS positively affect ESG of the firm. In addition, an idea to utilize the dangerous goods TMS for future ESG improvement is also proposed.
