자동차 인테리어 칵핏(Cockpit) 조형 디자인의 관여 요인 고찰 -디자인적 연관 요소 분석을 중심으로-

Automotive design is evolving rapidly compared to the past due to electrification, automation, and electronicization of major vehicle systems. In car interior design, from the shape of each element to the interaction with the driver and the area to pursue emotional perfection using materials, the areas to be considered in design are becoming more sophisticated. In this way, it is necessary to define the key elements of the evolving interior design of automobiles and analyze the factors involved in the formative design of the cockpit to suggest the direction of future cockpit design development. This is because the formative perfection of the cockpit design, in which the most area for driving operation is within the driver's field of vision and the control devices for vehicle control are intensively arranged, is an important factor that is connected not only with aesthetics but also usability and safety. In this study, the formative design elements of car interiors that affect users are identified and the key factors in the process of cockpit design development are discussed. Based on this, correlation factors with interior design components that influence the formative design of the cockpit are analyzed. In order to continuously develop design formativeness on the premise of the acceptance of new technologies and the unique function of the cockpit, factors involved in the formative design of the cockpit will be considered and future research directions will be discussed.
