코로나19로 인한 재택근무 경험이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 근무환경 만족도와 근로시간 만족도의 다중매개효과 검증

This study aims to test multi-mediation effects of work environment satisfaction and working-hour satisfaction in the relationship between experience of telecommuting due to COVID-19 and life satisfaction. This study utilized 2021 Social Survey data of Korea Statistics and frequency analyses, descriptive statistics analyses, correlation analyses were conducted and SPSS Process Macro was used to test multi-mediation effects of work environment satisfaction and working-hour satisfaction. Study subjects for the analyses were 13,712 wage workers. Results of the analyses are as follows. First, experience of telecommuting due to COVID-19 had a direct positive effect on life satisfaction. Second, work environment satisfaction had a positive significant effect on life satisfaction. Third, working-hour satisfaction had a positive significant effect on life satisfaction. Fourth, experience of telecommuting due to COVID-19 had a significant positive effect on life satisfaction through work environment satisfaction and working-hour satisfaction. Results of this study show that telecommuting can be considered one of alternative working types in the situation of spread of infectious disease like COVID-19.
