디지털화폐 가상자산에 대한 사회적 인식 SWOT 분석

초록
연구목적 본 연구는 디지털화폐 가상자산 중심 사회적 인식에 대한 SWOT분석을 통해 강점, 약점, 기회, 위협 등을 중심으로 한 핵심 요인을 도출하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 연구방법 2022년 3월 1일~3월 30일까지 IT산업과 금융기관 분야 전문가를 대상으로 심층면담 기법을 적용하여 질적연구를 수행하였다. 연구에 참가한 대상은 7명이다. 결과 첫째, 4차 산업혁명시대 가상자산에 대한 사회적 인식은 디지털화폐 가상자산으로 인한 사회적 혼란, 기술성장과 화폐가치 확보 필요, 가상자산은 4차 산업혁명의 핵심기술 등으로 인식하고 있다. 둘째, 가상자산에 대한 강점요인은 국제 유동성 통화의 가능성, 사용의 편리성과 보안성 확보, 블록체인기술 진화와 신뢰성 확보 등의 요인이 도출되었다. 셋째, 가상자산에 대한 약점요인은 해킹문제 노출과 신 안보위협 증가, 가상자산 중심 정책미흡 및 자금세탁 윤리성 부재, 투기목적 조장 및 노동시장 붕괴 등의 핵심 요인이 도출되었다. 넷째, 가상자산에 대한 기회요인은 미래사회 세계 공용화폐 가치기능, 디지털 기술혁신을 통한 탈중앙화 탈피, 혁신 재산증식 등의 기회 등의 요인이 도출되었다. 다섯째, 가상자산에 대한 위협요인은 가상화폐로 인한 국부 유출 및 세금 징수 위협, 화폐로서의 가치성 미흡, 기축통화를 위한 법·제도적 개선 및 보상 등의 요인이 도출되었다. 결론 디지털화폐 가상자산에 대한 사회적 인식은 가상화폐가 기축통화 및 화폐로서의 가치를 인정받기 위해서는 법.제도적 개선의 문제점을 전략적으로 개선해야 한다.
Abstract
Purpose The main purpose of this study is to derive core factors centered on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through SWOT analysis of social perceptions centered on digital currency and virtual assets. Methods From March 1 to March 30, 2022, a qualitative study was conducted by applying the in-depth interview technique to experts in the IT industry and financial institutions. Seven subjects participated in the study. Result First, social awareness of virtual assets in the era of the 4th industrial revolution is recognized as social confusion caused by digital currency virtual assets, the need for technological growth and securing monetary value, and virtual assets as the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution. Second, as for the strength factors for virtual assets, factors such as the possibility of an international liquidity currency, securing of ease of use and security, and the evolution of blockchain technology and securing reliability were derived. Third, as for the weakness factors for virtual assets, key factors such as exposure to hacking problems, increase in new security threats, insufficient virtual asset-oriented policies and lack of ethics in money laundering, promotion of speculative purposes and collapse of the labor market were derived. Fourth, as for the opportunity factors for virtual assets, factors such as the value function of the world common currency in the future society, the escape from decentralization through digital technology innovation, and opportunities such as the growth of innovative property were derived. Fifth, as for the threat factors for virtual assets, factors such as the threat of national outflow and tax collection due to virtual currency, insufficient value as money, and legal and institutional improvement and compensation for key currency were derived. Conclusion Social awareness of digital currency virtual assets requires strategic improvement of legal and institutional problems in order for virtual currency to be recognized as a key currency and currency.
