뷰티테크 기술에 대한 특허 정보 분석에 관한 연구

‘Beauty Tech’ is a combined word of ‘beauty’ and ‘technology’. It is a technology trend which includes virtual reality technology, diagnosis solutions and high-tech beauty devices. Recently, it has been widely used in home-beauty devices, beauty devices, customized cosmetics, skin & health care, AI and platform-related units. With the expansion of beauty-tech market, it is now able to provide customized solutions with innovative technology in beauty market. This study attempted to respond to beauty market which has continuously evolved according to segmentation and customization trends. For this, valid patents (2,868 patents) were chosen through a survey on beauty tech-related patents (2021-2022). Then, both quantitative and qualitative analyses on patent trends by year/country and technology market growth stages were performed. In addition, this study reviewed skincare-related beauty technology trends by investigating skincare technologies which have recently been most active in beauty technologies and related core patents (10 patents).
