우리는 ICT로 대변되는 정보통신기술 및 운송수단 등 과학기술의 발달로 온·오프라인의 콘텐츠를 어렵지 않게공유할 수 있는 시대에 살고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 분야에서 다각적 활용을 위한 콘텐츠 개발의 필요성이제기되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 스핀오프 방식을 활용한 콘텐츠의 확장과 파생에 초점을 두고 물리적 척도, 정서적 척도, 작품의 연속성의 세 가지 스핀오프 척도를 설정하였다. 물리적 척도는 객관적인 형태, 정서적 척도는 색을 통해 연결되는 주관적인 상징, 작품의 연속성은 원작과 파생작의 연속성, 일관성등을 기준으로 분석을 진행하였다. 사례분석은 아날로그 콘텐츠와 디지털 콘텐츠의 원작과 파생작을 대상으로 상관관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 콘텐츠디자인에 있어서 스핀오프 방식의 효율성은 결과물에 긍정적 영향을 확보할 수 있다. 둘째, 콘텐츠디자인의 성공적 파생은 원작의 성공을 토대로 이루어진다. 셋째, 스핀오프의 척도 정립을 통해 콘텐츠디자인의 선순환이 가능함을 파악하였다.
Abstract
We are living in an era where online and offline content can be shared without difficulty due to the development of ICT and science and technology. Accordingly, the need for content development for multilateral use in various fields has been raised. To this end, this study established three spin-off scales: physical scale, emotional scale, and continuity of work, focusing on the expansion and derivation of content using spin-off methods. The physical scale was analyzed based on the objective form, the emotional scale was based on subjective symbols connected through color, and the continuity of work was based on the contents of the continuity and consistency of the original and derivative works. The case analysis analyzed the correlation between the original and derivative works of analog and digital content. The results of the study are as follows. First, the efficiency of the spin-off method in content design can secure a positive effect on the outcome. Second, the successful derivation of content design is based on the success of the original work. Third, it was identified that a virtuous cycle of content design is possible through the establishment of a scale of spin-off.
