IS 소년들의 인권침해에 대한 국제법적 해결방안 연구

IS, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, is a Sunni-Muslim extremist group, whose activity is notorious for their crimes against humanity. The US-led coalition opened and succeeded in the Operation of Inherent Resolve, US's armed attack against IS, ending in the March of 2019. However, some scholars in Germany or the eastern Europe express a doubt on the legitimacy of the US measure. This paper aims to discuss the idea against the US operation on IS by observing the logical discourse of Dr. Peters, a German international law expert. After that, I try to find out a justification by introducing Dozier's report about the Yezidi boys kidnapped and returned by IS. Through the analysis, merely the violation of their human rights, mostly making suicide terror, by IS's atrocious activity, brainwashing with various killing methods or tendentious religious ideas, can rightly lead to punishing IS. This research is intended to be continued for studying how to solve the struggles in Syria's and Iraq's civil war.
