네일디자인 전개를 위한 디자인스케치 단계의 체계화를 위한 연구

This study proposes sketch steps systematically for the development of nail design, and through this, it aims to lay the basis for the development education of nail design. Nail design is an area of practical design, and the development of creative design is very important. However, in the nail beauty field, related industries have grown based on working skills, and due to this, the concept of design is insufficient. In addition, nail design education is focused on skill transfer and training for design representation through demonstration rather than idea education. Therefore, this study identified the characteristics of the sketch steps through literature research in the field of industrial design for the purpose of systematizing the development of nail design in the field of nail beauty and by applying this, the sketch process for visualization of nail design was proposed in three steps. For the development of nail design, the derivation process of the subject image and the sketch process for visualization of nail design were divided. For the derivation of the subject image, keywords were selected as a storytelling method through association with the subject, and the data collection process for specific images was proposed. For the visualization of nail design, a three-step image development process by thumbnail sketch, detail sketch, and style sketch was proposed. As for the visualization of nail design, thumbnail sketches were conducted first to check the layout, detail sketches were conducted second to specify the design expression method and check the reality, and style sketches were conducted third to reproduce and share the design. This study is meaningful to systematically propose sketch steps for the development of nail design and lay the foundation for systematic development education of nail design rather than skill transfer and training of traditional apprenticeship education. In addition, through this study, it is hoped that the importance of sketches for visualization of nail design ideas will be recognized and it will contribute to expanding the creative expression of nail design through systematic visual expression by sketches.
