해운물류 경쟁력 강화를 위한 ESG 경영에 관한 연구

초록
최근 국내외 여러 상황들을 감안해 보았을 때, 코로나19 이후의 새로운 뉴노멀을 구축하는 데 있어서, 환경을 보호하고 사회적 안정망을 더욱 견고히 만들기 위한 사회적 요구가 증대됨에 따라, 해운물류 분야또한 ESG의 도입 및 ESG를 활용한 기업 경영이 최대 이슈로 부상되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 해운물류 분야에서 ESG 경영이 성공적으로 도입되고, 운영이 조기에 안착되도록함으로써 해운물류 기업들이 안정적인 기반 위에서 기업 경영을 성공적으로 수행하도록, 다양한 도입 방안분석 및 정책 제언 제시를 통하여 정부와 기업 양쪽에 모두 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 함에 그 핵심적인연구 목적이 있다 하겠다. 특히 ESG의 개념 및 부상 배경과 함께 ESG가 기업 경영에 있어 왜 중요한 요소로 기능하는지, 그리고해운물류 분야 기업들의 성공적인 ESG 대응 전략은 무엇인지에 대하여 집중적으로 살펴봄으로써, 해운물류기업들이 ESG 경영의 도입을 통해 대내외 리스크를 조기에 극복하고 국제경쟁력을 지속 창출하여 안정적인성장의 선순환 사이클에 안착할 수 있도록 다양한 도입 방안들을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Purpose: Considering the recent domestic and international circumstances, in the construction of a new normal after Corona 19, as social demands are increasing as social safety net and environment, the shipping and logistics sector also introduces ESG and ESG Corporate management using. Therefore, in this study, ESG management is successfully introduced and operated in the shipping and logistics field, so that shipping and logistics companies can successfully conduct business management on a stable basis by analyzing various introduction methods and presenting policy suggestions. It is said that the core research purpose is to provide practical help to both companies. In particular, by focusing on the concept and rise of ESG, why ESG functions as an important factor in corporate management, and what are the successful ESG response strategies of companies in the shipping and logistics field, shipping and logistics companies can suggest ways to firmly maintain international competitiveness by overcoming internal and external risks and creating new values to settle into a virtuous cycle of sustainable growth.
