직장어린이집 보육교사의 직무스트레스와 근무환경이 영유아 권리존중 보육실행에 미치는 영향

Childcare that respects the rights of infants and young children is emphasized in order to instill the ability to live a community life in which children know their rights, respect the rights of others, and further fulfill their responsibilities according to their rights. Considering that daycare teachers are the most important subjects to help children respect and realize the rights of infants and young children in daycare centers, it can be predicted that the internal and external environmental factors surrounding daycare teachers will have a significant impact on the implementation of rights-respecting childcare. In addition, workplace childcare centers are being expanded, but research on childcare teachers in workplace childcare centers is quite lacking. In this regard, this study examined the effects of job stress and working environment on childcare practice respecting the rights of infants and young children, targeting daycare teachers at work daycare centers. Convenience sampling was conducted on 205 childcare teachers working at workplace childcare centers located in the Jeonnam region, and a structured questionnaire was conducted. As a result of multiple regression analysis, it was found that the satisfaction of the work environment, rather than job stress, had a significant effect on childcare practice respecting the rights of infants and young children, controlling for the age, career, and educational background of childcare teachers. Based on the results of this study, ways to improve the working environment of childcare teachers were discussed.
