초록
As the minimum wage in 2018 increased sharply compared to 2017, and increased even more in 2019 and 2020, the opinions of coffee-related workers were investigated to examine the impact on the operation of the coffee industry. The current status of the coffee industry was first examined, and the perception of wages was investigated among coffee-related workers to determine whether coffee-related wages were appropriate for implementation and operation due to the increase in the minimum wage. The 2019 and 2020 minimum wages were indicated to be inadequate for coffee industry operations. The owner/manager responded that the current minimum wage policy was less appropriate than the auxiliary barista (general employee). It was pointed out that the reason was that it did not consider the size and operation of the coffee industry, and that it did not take into account the working capacity and characteristics of the workers. As a result of examining the degree of implementation in 2019, it was found that the minimum wage system was not well implemented for foreign workers. Through these results, it is expected that the wage system suitable for the job level and ability related to coffee will be prepared.
