· Research topics: The purpose of this study is to examine how voluntary ESG management implementation of financial corporate can induce ESG-oriented management of corporate in need of funds. · Research background: Focusing on the meaning and influence of financial corporate has changed due to the strengthening of global ESG disclosure standards and the demand for disclosure of information on companies demanding funds is expected to increase, attention was paid to the meaning of participation by financial companies. · Differences from prior research: It is attempted to emphasize that the financial intermediary function of a financial corporate is recognized as a unique and differentiated capability and is an incentive to promote the implementation of ESG management of other corporate. · Research method: Recent trends in finance-related global consultative bodies and initiatives were investigated and cases of financial corporate in Korea were reviewed. · Research results: It is confirmed that the financial corporate in Korea selected for the case study have ESG promotion systems and systems that can respond to global initiatives. · Contribution points and expected effects: Timeliness was achieved through the global strengthening of ESG information disclosure standards and the response status of domestic financial corporate. It is expected that this can be used to identify ESG factors that corporate should strategically consider in diverting funds in the future.
