포토보이스 방법을 이용한 M시의 아동친화도시 개념

지역사회가 아동의 권리를 보호하고 아동 친화적인 조건을 갖추는 것은 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 아동친화도시가 갖추어야 할 개념이 무엇인지 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 참여자는 M시의 아동학과 학생 7명이며 포토보이스 연구방법을 사용하였다. M시의 아동친화적인 모습과 아동친화적이지 않은 장면을 사진 촬영하고 사진 속에 공통적으로 들어있는 의미를 통해 아동친화도시가 갖추어야 할 개념을 도출하였다. 연구결과 아동친화도시의 주요 개념으로 첫째, 아동이 심미감을 느낄 수 있는 아름다운 도시미관을 가져야 하고 둘째, 아동이 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 안전한 시설과 설비를 갖추어야 하며, 셋째, 아동의 건강한 생활을 위해 도시가 청결하게 관리되어야 하고, 넷째, 아동의 건강, 안전, 교육, 의료서비스에 대한 접근성을 높여 공공서비스를 편리하게 받을 수 있도록 해야 한다. 마지막으로 다섯째, 아동을위한 여가놀이 공간과 시설 마련이 아동친화도시의 주요개념으로 도출되었다. 아동친화적인 도시를 만들기 위해서는 아동의 참여가 보장되고 아동의 의견이 존중 되어야 한다.
Abstract
It is important for communities to protect children's rights and to provide child-friendly conditions. The purpose of this study is to find out what child-friendly cities should have. The participants in this study were seven children's department students in city M, and the photovoice research method was used. Scenes that can represent a child-friendly city were photographed, and concepts that a child-friendly city should have were derived according to common meanings in the photos. As a result of the study, the concept of a child-friendly city is divided into five categories: a beautiful city view, a safe environment, a healthy and clean environment, accessibility to various services, and a leisure play environment. Child-friendly cities need to ensure participation by children and respect for their opinions.
