체크리스트법을 활용한 여성 셔츠 디자인 분석

Paying attention to various changes in shirts based on the classical basic style as the gender boundary gets ambiguous in the recent fashion, this study aimed to analyze women’s shirt designs in multilateral aspects based on the check-list method, which is one of design idea conception methods with clear classification criteria for the systematic analysis. The scope of analysis was total 8,557 photos of shirts uploaded to VOGUE KOREA Runway from F/W 2019 to S/S 2022. In order to analyze the photos, this study organized the detailed items in eight types of check-list method by going through the preliminary review, and then made it possible to double-check in each type of idea conception. The types of check-list method shown in shirts were a lot shown in the order of extremity, elimination, modification, combination, and addition type while the types like reverse, conversion, and association type were a bit insignificantly shown compared to other types of idea conception. The extremity of bodice or sleeve cuffs, elimination of pocket, modification in the shape of sleeve and pocket, combination of decorative details like strap or ruffle, and design added with button or pocket were shown in priority. This study is significant in the aspect of presenting the effective utilization measures for the development of creative shirt design in the future by applying the check-list method to the analysis of shirts, classifying and analyzing them into clear and detailed types, and then presenting the design cases.
