본 연구는 교육의 사회적 책임에 대한 인식 유형을 알아보기 위하여 개인의 인식 또는 신념과 같은 주관성 연구에 적합한 연구방법으로 Q방법을 활용하였다. 교육의 사회적 책임에 관한 문헌연구, 사전 설문조사, 심층면담 결과를 토대로 41개의 Q모집단을 추출하였다. 전문가 자문을 통해 최종 31개의 Q표본을 도출하였다. 연구대상인 P표본은 P대학의 대학원에서 교육학을 전공하고 있는 대학원생 중, 연구에 참여할 것을 동의한 학생 34명으로 구성하였다. 2022년 10월 2주에 걸쳐 Q Sorting을 실시하고PQ Method 2.35로 분석하였다. 강하게 긍정한 문항, 강하게 부정한 문항 그리고 유형별 식별 문항을근거로 해석하여 교육의 사회적 책임에 대한 인식 유형을 3가지로 분류하였다. 제1유형은 개념이해 및현장실천 강조형, 제2유형은 국가개입 및 개인성장 강조형, 제3유형은 연구 및 교육자 역할 강조형으로명명하였다. 교육의 사회적 책임이라는 개념을 실제로 받아들이는 학생들의 인식 유형을 알아봄으로써교육이 사회적 책임을 어떻게 이해시키고, 실천방안을 제시해야 하는지 방안을 마련할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of education for social responsibility. To achieve this a Q-methodological analysis was used to study people’s subjectivity in individual perceptions and beliefs. The Q-population was composed of 41 questions based on literature analysis, a pre-survey, and in-depth interviews. Q-samples were finally composed of 31 statements after expert reviewing. Thirty-four students majoring in education at P graduate school participated in this study. Q-sorting was performed for two weeks in October 2022, and the data were analyzed through the PQ Method 2.35 program. The analysis was based on the most positive and negative statements, and identification items. Education for social responsibility was classified into three types: Emphasis on concept understanding and field practice, Emphasis on state intervention and personal growth, and Emphasis on research and edaucator role. By examining the perception types of students who accept the concept of education for social responsibility, it will be possible to prepare action plans for including social responsibility in education.
