임산부 의복 관련 국내 특허, 실용신안 동향의 다학제적 분석

This study starts with attention to importance of clothing that could give physical easiness and aesthetic satisfaction to pregnant woman. This aims at providing the fundamental data for research activeness and application of intellectual property right by analyzing the domestic maternity clothing patent and utility model. For research method and range, intellectual property office’s browing service KIPRIS is used. Contents are examined on timeline application trend, applicant’s characteristics, IPC classification code and item review, benefit available, and applied technology in patents and utility models set forth during 1991 through 2021. Results are as follows. Applications with maternal wear showed 24 patent cases(34.3%) and 46 utility model cases(65.7%). Applicants were 53 individuals(75.7%), accounting for the largest rate, and then enterprises and colleges in the order. In the order of largest portion, IPC code was first with 34 cases of A41D(30.9%) and A41C, A41B, A61F, A41F and A44B. In the benefit available, functionality took the first with 39 cases(55.7%) and then convenience and practicality, respectively. In the used technology, such were applied as clothing construction design or sewing, material aspect, and other add-ons. The highest rate item was a one-piece dress including upper wears with 16(22.9%) and then belt and binder, brazier, panties, or girdle. The state of patent and utility model is understood through this study about maternity clothing. The same is true of application possibility and necessity about their related field, also. If a consistent analysis including design right is done, this will give an aid to maternity clothing examination.
