초록
This study examines the determinants of the green entrepreneurship intention of university undergraduate students. Specifically, the undergraduate students’ risk-taking propensity, environmental vision, and university conceptual support for green entrepreneurship are investigated as determinants for green entrepreneurship intention. We surveyed 212 undergraduate students from different universities in Daejeon, Korea, in October 2022 to empirically test the proposed relationships. A partial least squared(PLS) based structural equation modeling was conducted to test the proposed hypotheses. We found that the risk-taking propensity, environmental vision, and university conceptual support for the green entrepreneurship of undergraduate students have a significant positive effect on green entrepreneurship intention. Since green entrepreneurship is one of the emerging issues in the area of the green economy, therefore, the findings of this study have contributed to the literature to understand the determinants of green entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the current study offers insights to the practitioners to leverage the factors such as university conceptual support for green entrepreneurship to increase the students’ green entrepreneurship intentions.
