전통소반의 현대화 디자인에 관한 연구 -현대적 감성과 디지털 가공기술을 적용한 소반디자인을 중심으로-

Soban is one of the representative kitchen furniture that has been inherited and devel oped by applying our own specialized problem-solving methods in wood selection, structure, and surface finish, dealing with the physical effects of Korea's housing structure, living environ ment, climate, and environment. It has developed into a unique structure that not only supports objects, but also serves as a tray for carrying food, and serves as a dining table. It can be said that it is a representative product that represents the thoughts and lifestyles of the time and re flects the tradition and culture of the ancestors. In modern society, various interest and design studies are being conducted on the fundamental beauty and identity of Soban, which is in line with the wisdom and aesthetics of our ancestors, and the willingness to find the identity of tra ditional cultural heritage that has been condensed over a long time. This study briefly summa rizes the process of change according to the history and times of Soban and goes through a process of understanding the significance of Korean traditional Soban. In addition, referring to the reinterpretation and modernization of soban centered on modern designers and craftsmen, the purpose is to explore new possibilities through the modernization process of traditional so ban design, modernization of soban, and succession and development of soban culture.
