전라남도 종합병원 간호사의 다제내성균 감염관리 지식과 수행도

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of knowledge and performance of infection control for multidrug-resistant organism of nurses at Jeollanam-do general hospital. Data were collected using structured questionnaires from 157 nurses working in 6 general hospitals by randomly selecting 3 accredited hospitals and 3 non-accredited hospitals with more than 200 to less than 500 beds located in Jeollanam-do. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe using SPSS/WIN 23. As a result of this study, the total knowledge level of infection control was 73.31 points and the overall performance level was 3.41. According to the general characteristics, the knowledge level of MRSA infection control showed a significant difference in age, clinical experience, experience as infection control trainees, presence of infection control guidelines and nursing experience of infected patients, while performance with MRSA infection control differed based on the work department and whether isolation environment existed. The knowledge level of VRE infection control differed significantly based on age, clinical experience, experience as infection control trainees, presence of infection control guidelines nursing experience of infected patients, and whether healthcare accreditation existed, while performance with VRE infection control differed based on age, the work department, experience as infection control trainees, and whether isolation environment existed. The knowledge level of CRGNB infection control showed significant differences in age, experience of infection control trainees, and whether infection control guidelines existed, while performance showed significant differences in work department, experience of infection control trainees, and whether infection control guidelines and isolation environment existed. Based on the above results, it will be necessary to develop a learner-centered infection control practical training program and establish an infection control environment in order to increase the level of knowledge of multidrug-resistant organism infection control and improve performance.
