조합원의 협동조합 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인분석: 실험연구방법을 중심으로

This study analyzed the factors affecting the participation of union members in cooperative activities through experimental studies. The experiment aimed to establish a hypothesis on the effect of punishment and compensation on the cooperative’s capital investment based on the form of a public goods game and verify it through a total of 36 public goods games. In addition, a difference-in-differences analysis was conducted to analyze the effects of the investment amount on punishment and compensation. Experiment with penalty conditions for free riders showed no statistically significant difference, indicating that the effect of punishment conditions on the participation of members was low. Moreover, an experiment on proportional compensation conditions found that compensation influenced the change in the participants’ behavior. Finally, the disclosure of information on the amount of investment made in this experiment showed negative (-) reciprocity among participants. The analysis shows that it is a fair distribution condition which affects the participation of members, and that an appropriate level of regulation is also necessary. This study explains what factors can directly affect the behavioral changes of members through experimental studies and provides practical implications for forming systems and conditions that can lead to behavioral changes in members
