부산 R&D투자가 지역경제에 미치는 파급효과 분석

초록
일반적으로 R&D에 대한 투자는 기술발전으로 이어지고, 이는 산업 구조를 변화시키며, 이러한 변화가 경제성장에 영향을 미치기 때문에 세계적으로 많은 국가에서 R&D투자를 확대하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한국은행이 제시한 지역 산업연관표를 토대로 하여 부산지역의 R&D투자가 전국 권역별 및 부산지역 산업별로 미치는 영향 등 지역경제에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 생산유발효과와 부가가치유발효과, 취업유발효과를 살펴보았고, 산업간 연쇄 효과분석 등 다양한 각도에서 부산의 R&D투자가 지역경제에 미치는 효과를 분석해 보았다. 분석 결과, 부산의 R&D투자는 우리나라 화학산업과 컴퓨터·전자·광학기기산업, 정보통신·방송서비스산업에 경제적 파급효과가 크다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 생산 및 부가가치 창출 효과는 제조업분야에서, 고용 창출 효과는 서비스산업에서 경제적 파급효과가 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 부산지역의 산업간 연쇄효과분석 결과, 감응도계수는 주로 서비스산업분야에서 효과가 크고, 영향력계수는 주로 제조업분야에서 효과가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
In general, investment in R&D leads to technological development, which changes the industrial structure, and since these changes affect economic growth, many countries around the world are expanding R&D investment. Therefore, this study analyzed the ripple effect on the local economy, such as the impact of R&D investment in Busan on each country and industry in Busan, based on the regional industry association table. To this end, the production inducement effect, value-added inducement effect, and employment inducement effect were examined, and the economic effect of Busan's R&D investment was analyzed from various angles, such as analysis of inter-industry linkage effect. As a result of the analysis, it was found that Busan's R&D investment had a great economic ripple effect in Korea's chemical industry, computer, electronic, and optical equipment industries, and information and communication and broadcasting service industries. As a result of the inter-industry chain effect analysis in Busan, it was found that the sensitivity coefficient was mainly effective in the service industry, and the influence coefficient was mainly effective in the manufacturing industry.
