경력단절여성의 진로장벽이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향과 사회적 지지의 매개효과

The purpose of this study is to verify the influence relationship between career barriers and career preparation behavior perceived by career interrupted women and to empirically investigate the mediating effect of social support. In order to verify these questions, the data was collected from 464 career interrupted women. The summary of the results of this study is as follows. First, it was found that the career barrier perceived by career interrupted women had a significant negative effect on social support and career preparation behavior. Second, it was found that the social support for career-interrupted women had a significant positive effect on career preparation behavior. Third, it was confirmed that social support, a parameter, had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between career barriers perceived by career interrupted women and career preparation behavior. This study provides the following practical implications. First, practical support such as finding quality jobs, expanding public childcare facilities, and preparing institutional arrangements is needed to resolve career barriers for women with career breaks. Second, it is required to establish a human and material network system to expand the social support network for career-interrupted women. Third, it is necessary to develop re-employment education and vocational training programs that suit the situation and re-employment needs of career-interrupted women so that career-interrupted women can establish practical career plans and prepare for re-employment.
