Workplace Spirituality and Work-Family Facilitation: Relationship with Employee Satisfaction in Three Domains

This study aims to determine the relationship between workplace spirituality and work-family facilitation, and on this basis, to further explore the relationship between work-family facilitation under the influence of workplace spirituality and employees' satisfaction in different domains. The study collected survey ques- tionnaires from 189 employees in China and conducted structural equation model analysis of the data. The results demonstrate that workplace spirituality has a significant positive relationship on both dimensions of work-family facilitation. Moreover, work-to-family facilitation has a positive effect on family and life satisfaction. But family-to-work facilitation has a significant positive effect only on job satisfaction. This study demonstrated that the relationship between workplace spirituality and work-family facilitation plays an important role in understanding employee satisfaction with life domains. Finally, theoretical and practical insights are presented based on the findings of this study.
