기업의 경영주역량, 기술혁신역량, 기술혁신성과 및 경영성과 간의 구조관계 연구: 동남권 중소 제조기업을 대상으로

본 연구의 목적은 동남권 소재 중소기업들의 경영주역량과 기술혁신역량이 기업의 기술혁신성과와 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 구조관계 연구를 통해 확인하는데 있다. 2022년 1월부터 6월까지 기술신용평가기관인 한국평가데이터(주), 나이스평가정보(주), (주)나이스디앤비, (주)이크레더블에서 평가 및 수집한 동남권 소재 1,011개의 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 분석하였다. 구조관계 연구를 위해 빈도분석, 기초통계량분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석 그리고 경로분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 중소 제조기업의 기술혁신역량은 기술혁신성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 기술 혁신성과는 경영성과(재무성과, 비재무성과)에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 다만, 경영주역량인 대표자의 동업계 경험수준과 기술지식수준은 기술혁신성과와 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 분석결과를 종합해 볼 때, 기업은 급변하는 경쟁환경 속에서 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 연구개발의 중추적인 역할을 담당하는 R&D전담조직의 편성과 운영이 필요하고, 일정수준 이상의 지속적인 연구개발투자를 통한 중소 제조기업의 기술혁신역량 확보가 중요하다 하겠다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of the CEO’s competency and the technological innovation capability on the technological innovation performance and the firm performance through the structural relationship research for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing industry located in the southeast region. In this study, 1,011 SMEs in the southeast region, which evaluated by technology credit rating agencies from January to June 2022, were analyzed. As the result, it was revealed that the technological innovation capability of SMEs in the manufacturing industry had a positive (+) effect on their technological innovation performance. In addition, the technological innovation performance of SMEs had a positive (+) effect on their firm performance. As summing up the above results, it is necessary for a company to organize and operate an R&D dedicated organization that plays a pivotal role in R&D in order to continuously grow in a rapidly changing competitive environment. And it is important to secure the technological innovation capabilities of SMEs through continuous R&D investment.
