해상운송의 국제 환경 규제 강화에 따른 해운기업의 대응 방안에 관한 연구

초록
전 세계가 함께 극복해야 할 친환경 문제에 대해 지금까지의 환경 보호와 관련된 국제적 협약이 진행되어 왔다. 이러한 환경 문제는 무역과 관련되어서는 물품의 이동에 따른 국제 해상 운송에서도 나타나고 있다. 특히 해상에서의 오염원으로서 선박이 배출하는 배기가스와 관련하여 이를 감축하기 위한 국제 협약과 여러 국가들의 방안을 살펴 보고, 이들 제도의 환경 목적을 달성하기 위한 방법과 문제점을 살펴 본다. 대표적인 국가로 EU와 미국의 해양 환경 보호와 관련된 제안 및 IMO의 해양 오염 물질 배출 감축에 대한 방안도 검토하도록 한다. 특히나 환경과 관련한 노력은 어느 한 국가의 일방적인 노력으로 이뤄지는 것이 아니기 때문에 다양한 국가와 개발의 정도 등에 대한 차별성과 환경 목적을 이루기 위한 무차별성의 원칙 등을 검토한다. 해양 환경 보호와 관련된 다양한 국제적 노력을 살펴보고 이러한 제도가 가져오는 경영상의 문제점 및 환경 보호 목적을 달성하기 위한 지원 방안과 해운 기업의 대응 방안을 분석하고 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Purpose : The purpose of this study is to suggest the impact of changes in environmental standards and the introduction of regulations on shipping companies and countermeasures. Research design, data, methodology : The paper uses the literature research and policy report and article analyzes. Also analyze various cases of other countries environmental regulations on maritime transport. Results : The purpose of the environmental regulation was confirmed through the agreement related to the environment. It examined how marine environmental rules have changed and presented various efforts to convert them into eco-friendly shipping companies. Conclusions : It was suggested that the improvement of eco-friendly technology is necessary as a way to become an eco-friendly shipping company, and that the government's cooperation and understanding of business and social members are needed to support it.
