자율주행차 실내디자인에 대한 지식재산권 보호범위에 관한 연구

With the introduction of electric vehicles, a wide variety of options for vehicle interior design have become available. Furthermore, with the advances in autonomous driving technology, the vehicle experience is no longer limited to driving, and various in-vehicle activities such as work, conference, rest, and leisure are expected to be enabled. Consequently, as experiences and services in a vehicle become more important, contents and designs in the internal space of the vehicle are also bound to change. In terms of UX/UI, the arrangement and color implementation of information displayed in the gradually widening cluster have become increasingly important. In this context, it is necessary to review legal protection against the growing importance of interior design of autonomous vehicles. This paper aims to review the scope and limitations of protection of autonomous vehicle interior design under the current Korean legal system, focusing on intellectual property rights, and eventually suggest measures for appropriate legal protection.
