초록
Unlike previous studies on women's entrepreneurship, this study aims to find out about female-to-male opportunity-driven total entrepreneurship activity(F/MOD TEA). The main purpose is to examine the extent to which national cultural values affect F/MOD TEA to become self-reliant and increase their wealth. Each element of cultural value was found to have a differential effect on F/MOD TEA, and two out of six hypotheses were supported. As predicted in the hypotheses, the lower the UAI and PDI, the more actively occur the F/MOD TEA. In addition, IVR was shown to have a significant negative relation with F/MOD TEA. F/MOD TEA was found to be more active in countries with higher IVR, but this result contradicted our prior expectations. This study may be arguably the first attempt to study the relationship between F/MOD TEA and cultural values of the countries.
