oneM2M 표준 기반 효율적인 인공지능 서비스 지원을 위한 AIaaS 프레임워크 개발

With the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), the world-leading standard development organizations (SDOs) developed the oneM2M standard for developing the common functions of IoT service platforms to ensure interoperability across IoT services. AI-enabled IoT services are adopted in various fields with the advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. However, the oneM2M standard is still in the early stage regarding the enablement of AI functions, and there is no framework to support them. In this paper, we proposed a standard architecture that supports AI functions in the oneM2M standard. Also, we developed an AI as a Service(AIaaS) framework that easily supports AI functions based on the oneM2M standard IoT platform. The developed AIaaS framework based on the oneM2M supports connection, execution, and termination procedures between IoT devices and AI service functions according to user requests. We showed that the AI service functions of the proposed oneM2M standard-based AIaaS framework work effectively through the use cases of the intelligent store and intelligent fire situation monitoring system developed based on the proposed framework.
