공간정보산업 ESG경영에 관한 연구

초록
본 연구에서는 공간정보산업 특수성과 K-ESG 가이드라인v1.0을 검토하고 공간정보산업 ESG경영을 위한 발전 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법론 차원에서 연구설계는 사례연구를 기반으로 하였으며 연구방법은 관련 문헌 및 보고서 검토 등 2차 자료를 중심으로 진행하였다. 본 연구는 K-ESG 가이드라인v1.0 검토, 공간정보산업 특수성 도출, 공간정보산업 특수성을 바탕으로 K-ESG 가이드라인v1.0 검토 및 발전 방향 제시 등 3단계로 진행하였다. 첫째, K-ESG 가이드라인v1.0은 4개 영역, 27개 범주, 61개 기본 진단항목으로 구성되어 있으며, 중견·중소기업을 위하여 이들 가운데 4개 영역, 17개 범주, 27개 기본 진단항목을 선별하여 제시하였다. 둘째, 공간정보산업의 특성은 종사자 1∼4명, 자본금 1∼10억 원 미만, 매출액 10억 원 미만이며, “공간정보 관련 소프트웨어 개발 및 공급업”, “공간정보 관련 탐사 및 측량업”, “공간정보 관련 엔지니어링 서비스업”에 초점을 두고 있다. 셋째, K-ESG 가이드라인v1.0을 검토한 결과 공간정보산업에 적용하는 데 다소 한계점이 나타났다. 따라서, 이들을 바탕으로 공간정보산업 ESG경영 발전을 위한 방향성을 제시하였다. 실질적으로 적용 가능한 공간정보산업 K-ESG 가이드라인을 설계할 필요가 있다. 또한 공간정보산업 ESG경영 검증을 위한 공공의 역할이 필요하다. 뿐만 아니라 국제지속가능성기준위원회(ISSB)에서 발표 예정인 ESG 공시 국제표준안에 대한 모니터링 및 검토가 필요하다.
Abstract
This study is to review the K-ESG guideline v1.0 in terms of the spatial information industry(SII) and suggest a direction for ESG management in SII. Methodologically, research design is based on the case study and the secondary data is used in terms of research method. This study is divided into three phases which are a review of the K-ESG guideline v1.0 and SII, an analysis of the K-ESG guideline v1.0 in terms of SII and a suggestion of ESG management in SII. First, the K-ESG guideline v1.0 consists of 4 areas, 27 categories and 61 basic elements, while 4 areas, 17 categories and 27 basic elements are selected among them for small and medium business. Second, in terms of characteristics of SII, 1 to 4 employees work in an individual company on average and a captial is more than 100 million won and less than 1 billion won. The sales are less than one billion won. SII is mainly based on “spatial information-related software development and supply”, “spatial information-related exploration and surveying” and “spatial information-related engineering service”. Third, there are limitations in applying the K-ESG guideline v1.0 to SII. Therefore, it is necessary to design practically applicable K-ESG guideline for SII, designate the public agency for verifying ESG management in SII and review ESG guideline of ISSB
