정보기술업의 운영 효율성 분석

본 연구에서는 최근 4차 혁명으로 인해 국내 산업을 주도해 갈 정보기술업을 대상으로 경영 효율성을 분석 시행하고 이를 통해 기업들이 효율적인 경영활동을 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로는 DEA 기법을 활용하여 BCC-I 와 CCR-I 모형을 기반으로 정보기술업을 분석하였다. 효율성 분석 결과, BCC 모형에서 효율적인 기업이 15개 기업 CCR 모형에서 효율적인 기업이 10개 기업으로 분석되었다. CCR 모형에서 효율성 값이 .50 이상의 효율성 수치를 나타낸 기업은 총 5개 기업으로 분석되었으며 마지막으로 정보기술업의 효율성 투사 값을 확인하기 위해 비효율적인 요소들에 대해서는 각 개선 비율을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 정보기술업을 대상으로 DEA라는 전통적인 효율성 측정 방법을 활용하였으며, 기존 연구와는 달리 정보기술업의 가장 대표적인 산출물인 특허권을 통해 각 기업의 효율성을 측정하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 또한 본 연구의 결과를 통해 주식시장에서는 이들 산업 이해관계자들의 투자의사 결정에 유용한 정보를 제공하게 될 것이며, 정부에게는 이들 산업을 지원하는 정책 방향 결정에 유용한 정보를 제공하게 될 것이다. 향후 연구 방향으로는 4차 혁명 시대 이후 정보기술업의 다년간 경영 효율성 변화를 통해 비재무적인 요소의 제거 및 각 기업의 경영 효율성을 제고시킬 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
In this study, management efficiency was analyzed for the information technology industry that will lead the domestic industry due to the recent fourth revolution. Through the results of this study, we would like to suggest ways for companies to conduct efficient management activities. As a research method, the information technology industry was analyzed based on the BCC-I and CCR-I models using the DEA method. As a result of the efficiency analysis, 15 efficient companies in the BCC model and 10 efficient companies in the CCR model were analyzed. In the CCR model, a total of five companies with an efficiency value of .50 or more were analyzed, and finally, each improvement ratio was presented for inefficient factors to confirm the efficiency projection value of the information technology industry. In this study, a traditional efficiency measurement method called DEA was used for the information technology industry. Unlike previous studies, it is meaningful that the efficiency of each company was measured through patent, the most representative output of the information technology industry. In the future, the direction of research is to suggest ways to eliminate non-financial factors and improve the management efficiency of each company by changing the management efficiency of the information technology industry for many years after the Fourth Revolution.
