미래차 산업에 대한 정부 지원 사업의 성과분석: 성향점수 매칭과 이중차분법 사용

With global environmental regulations and digital transformation, the automobile industry is transitioning into eco-friendly and autonomous vehicles. The government is providing technology and subsidy to conversion companies. This study analyzed the financial performance of companies that benefited from the innovation project for automobile parts companies, a government support program. The change between 2019 and 2021 was analyzed by establishing a future mobility industry DB and presenting a PSM-DID model for the net effect analysis of the project. The asset growth rate and debt ratio of future mobility companies increased compared to general companies. It can be interpreted that as the future mobility industry grows, active investment is being made. In addition, the project's beneficiaries had an increase in ROE and a decrease in debt ratio compared to non-beneficiary companies, confirming that the project had a positive net effect in terms of profitability and financial stability. This study is meaningful in that it identified future mobility companies and analyzed the differences in characteristics between future mobility companies and general ones and the net benefits of the project. In addition, it confirmed the legitimacy and necessity of continuing the policy and suggested the need for policy measures against the declining financial stability of future mobility companies.
