정부출연연구기관의 국제공동연구 네트워크 분석: 바이오헬스 분야를 중심으로

The joint research through cooperation to respond to the convergence of science and technology and the rapidly changing environment is no longer an option but a necessity. Therefore, in this study, we tried to look at the joint research activities between countries, institutions, and researchers centered on government-funded research institutes. For empirical analysis, SCI papers in the field of biohealth from 2016 to 2020 published in Scopus were collected, and joint research network analysis of government-funded research institutes was conducted using the KDD/KM co-author method. As a result of the analysis, the country’s research activity in the biohealth field was ranked 4th, while other domestic institutions were not included in the global top 20 institutions, except for KIST. In the joint research cooperation network, it was confirmed that international cooperation was insufficient as most of the research institutes were only conducting joint research with domestic research institutes. Based on the results of this analysis, policy implications for further strengthening the international joint research of the government-funded research institute in the future were presented.
