김진규, 2023, 김춘수 산문의 상호텍스트성, 어문연구, 198 : 423~452 이 논문은 『꽃과 여우』와 이전 수필 사이의 상호텍스트성을 밝힘으로써 작가의 문제의식과 그것의 형상화를 구체적으로 검토했다. 김춘수의 산문 텍스트에서 ‘눈(眼)’이 지속적으로 주요하게 다뤄졌음을 확인하고, 시선의 성격을 중심으로 『꽃과 여우』 속 타자를 유형화하였다. 이 중 김춘수의 자의식과 양심의 사유에 큰 영향을 미친 시선은 ‘식모 아이’, ‘베잠방이 소년’, ‘김 서방’, ‘3등실 청년’ 등 김춘수로 하여금 계급적 자의식을 느끼게 만드는 이들의 것이었다. 텍스트에서 ‘데페이스망 기법’을 통해 구성된 ‘양심’ 논의는 양심, ‘나’, 세계 자체를 무화함으로써, 구체적인 사회 속에서의 행동과 양심의 문제에 대해 판단중지를 한다. 하지만 신학자 ‘볼드만’과 ‘3등실 청년’에 대한 강박적 관심과 이전 텍스트에서 끝내 『꽃과 여우』로 옮기지 못한 내용은 역설적으로 그가 불평등과 같은 사회의 구체적인 문제들에 관심을 가지고, 그 문제를 해결하고자 하는 ‘양심’에 집착하고 있었음을 말해준다. 이 논의는 김춘수 문학의 다양한 면모를 평가하는 데 일조할 것이다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the author’s thematic consciousness and formulation by revealing the intertextuality between Flower and the Fox and his previous essays. This discussion identifies the continued centrality of the eye in Kim’s prose texts and typologizes the other in her works based on the nature of the gaze. Among them, the gazes of the “young maid,” the “bejambangi boy,” “Kim Seobang,” and the “third-class young man” made Kim Chun-su experience class consciousness, which greatly influenced the poet’s conscience and self-consciousness. The discussion of “conscience,” composed through the dépaysement technique in work, negates conscience, “I,” and the world itself; thus suspending judgment on behavior and conscience in the real world. However, the poet’s continued interest in a third-class young man, and the omission from his previous writings paradoxically indicate that he was interested in specific problems in society, such as inequality, and was obsessed with the “conscience” that seeks to solve them. This discussion contributes to evaluating the various aspects of Kim Chun-su’s literature.
