벼 재배 농가의 농작물재해보험 중요도-만족도 분석- 전북지역을 중심으로 -

This study surveyed and analyzed the importance and performance of 5 major categories (attributes) and 23 questions (factors) for crop insurance improvement plans for insured farmers. The survey targeted 106 rice farm households in Jeollabukdo province that had experience with crop insurance loss adjustment. According to the survey, farmers intend to continue using crop insurance in the future in 95.3% of the cases; however, satisfaction was low at 23.6%. According to the Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA), the following factors should be maintained (quadrant 1) with high importance and performance: the expertise of the person in charge of contracting insurance, government support for insurance premiums, convenience in claiming insurance premiums, guidance and appropriateness of adjusting the schedule, and expertise and fairness of loss adjusters. In addition, the conveniences of checking for insurance coverage, loss adjustment results, and appealing against loss adjustment results, as well as notification of premium payment timing, were factors requiring intensive improvement (quadrant 2) with high importance but low performance. In the future, the sections dealing with insurance accident reporting, loss adjustment, and indemnity payment will need to be continuously improved and supplemented to reflect the opinions of farm households, the main policyholders.
