중소기업 정책이 기업의 활동과 성과에 미치는 영향: 중소기업협동조합을 중심으로

This study analyzes the effects of governmental policies on the implementation and performance of small and medium enterprise (SME) co-operatives’ joint businesses. Institutions and policies can decrease the transaction costs of business activities, and reducing transaction costs can improve a business’s performance. It can increase business activities by converting previously unprofitable projects into profitable ones. The results show that, while policy satisfaction has no effect on the implementation of SME cooperatives’ joint businesses, policy sensitivity has a weak but positive effect, suggesting that the higher the policy quality, the higher the possibility of implementing joint businesses. Second, policy satisfaction and sensitivity positively affect the performance of joint businesses, demonstrating that policy quality influences performance. This implies that government policies that SME co-operatives satisfy or experience can decrease joint business transaction costs, thereby promoting joint business implementation and performance. This study is significant because it analyzes the effects of governmental policies on the activities and performance of enterprises from an institutional standpoint. It has empirical tests on SME co-operatives, which have not been well studied.
