부사 파생 접미사 ‘-이’, ‘-히’에 대한 공시적 기술

The purpose of this paper is to understand the synchronic feature of the adverb-derived suffixes '-이(i)' and '-히(hi)'. The suffixes '-이(i)' and '-히(hi)' were analyzed from morphophonemics point of view, and the problems of the description were identified by reviewing the related rules of Korean orthography. Furthermore, based on the analysis results, I tried to suggest a plan to modify rules of Korean orthography. Because the current regulations do not clearly present the environment for the emergence of "-이(i)" and "-히(hi)" and do not take into account the real pronunciation, the people are confused between "-이(i)" and "-히(hi)" in notation. Accordingly, in this paper, the feature of the word(morpheme) preceding "-이(i)" and "-히(hi)" was identified, and the relationship and distribution of "-이(i)" and "-히(hi)" were confirmed. "-이(i)" and "-히(hi)" are in complementary distribution, and /-이(i)/ appeared when the word was native words, and /-히(hi)/ when the word was Sino-Korean word. In other words, it was argued that this is a morphologically conditioned distribution, and that the spelling of Hangeul should also be modified according to this distribution. In addition, it was argued that when 'ㅂ' irregular predicate element and '르' irregular predicate element are combined with the suffix '-이(i)', it is more consistent with the Synchronic description to set the stem of predicate as a plural underlying forms without considering allomorphy of '-이(i)'.
