기초자치단체의 청년정책 개발연구: 전라남도 영광군을 중심으로

This research aims to establish the basis for a medium-term youth policy in Yeonggwang County, Jeollanam-do, reflecting the demands of youth policy and addressing the specific needs of the local youth. The goal is to prevent youth outmigration and attract young people to the region by implementing comprehensive and tailored support policies for the youth. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, and 302 were collected. Based on the research results, the basic plan for the youth policy in Yeonggwang County was formulated. The vision for the youth policy in Yeonggwang County is to create an attractive living environment for young people in Yeonggwang. The objectives include promoting youth participation and communication, establishing a foundation for youth capacity building and creating stable job opportunities, fostering a thriving youth cultural ecosystem, and enhancing welfare support for young people to improve the overall living environment. The core values of the policy are youth participation and communication, job creation, youth culture, and the realization of youth welfare. The research findings and implications suggest several key points for implementing the youth policy in Yeonggwang County: First and foremost, to realize the youth policy in Yeonggwang County, it is crucial to have the strong will of the county government and secure sufficient budget resources for policy implementation. Strengthen cooperation among different departments to enhance the execution of the youth policy plan. Manage the roadmap and performance indicators for the implementation of the youth policy plan.
