범인식별 문제에 대한 다차원적 접근 제안

Based on the idea that unstructured information and knowledge concerning criminal identification are one of the important causes of problems of criminal identification practices, this study explored relevant judicial precedents, investigative agencies’ guide lines and preceding researches, and suggested a multidimensional approach model to criminal identification. In chapter Ⅱ, the study identified the necessity(e.g. blind spots of judicial precedents) and possibility(e.g. good view points of preceding researches, richness of relevant information and knowledge) of the multidimensional approach. In chapter Ⅲ, the study suggested 「2 × 2 × 2」 model consist of target element, situation element, witness inherent element, witness’s event concerning element, line-up composing element, line-up performing element, informing element of evaluation, legal principle element of evaluation based on analytic, receptive and open mind, and explained the meaning of the model by the points of diagnosis, association and prescription function of the model. In the conclusion, the meanings and limitations of the study were suggested, and the importance of careful approaches to statement evidences were emphasized.
