This paper reviews the management and stabilization of the logistics supply chain, which is currently under discussion. The port congestion that began in the United States affected the entire liner market, and later, freight rate hikes and export restrictions aggravated the crisis in the global supply chain. Disruption in the supply chain affects domestic exporting companies, requiring logistics stabilization, and the importance of multi-year contracts has emerged to secure a stable fleet. On the other hand, it has become important for carriers to properly supply ships and container boxes in maritime transportation, and various countermeasures for sustainable maritime transportation have become necessary to strengthen the competitiveness of carriers. Various efforts are being made in various countries around the world to deal with this supply chain crisis. To respond to supply chain risks, Korea is also revamping various laws and promoting supply chain management strategies at the government level. Since Korea relies on maritime transport for most of its exports and imports, it is necessary to strengthen its capabilities in the maritime logistics sector to maintain a stable supply chain. Therefore, in this article, we will review various issues for the stabilization of the shipping logistics supply chain and sustainable maritime transportation.
