비영리스타트업의 정의와 특성에 관한 연구: 유사조직과의 비교를 중심으로

The role of the state and the market is increasingly expanding, but so are social problems. Against this background, this study aims to analyze the concept and characteristics of nonprofit - 525 startups as a new actor in civil society, which is an important pillar of democracy along with the state and the market, but is very vulnerable. Recently, various support programs for nonprofit startups have been established through local governments and private organizations, but the concept and characteristics of nonprofit startups are still unclear. Therefore, this study examines the concept of nonprofit startups based on the understanding of nonprofit organizations and startup organizations. Then, in order to identify the characteristics of nonprofit startups, the similarities and differences with social enterprises and social ventures, which are similar organizations that create social value, were identified through literature review and AHP analysis. The results showed that nonprofit startups are similar to other similar organizations in their emphasis on identity, but they are different in that they emphasize capability factors rather than sustainability, and they emphasize the nature of nonprofit. Finally, we conclude with recommendations for nonprofit startups.
