At this point that companies’ management environment is dramatically changing and competition is getting fiercer, for their survival, companies’ management activity that secures accounting reliability and responsibility is becoming more and more important. When those concerned in the company evaluate the company, it is essential to measure outcomes based on sales and profit and loss; howe213 ver, it is getting more and more important to conduct ESG evaluation grounded on non-financial results such as Environment, Social, and Governance outcomes for the sake of sustainable management. To provide customers with goods and services and continue their positive image shown outside, hotel companies should be differentiated from other competitors and maintain their competitive advantage uniquely. This study is aimed to extract main factors associated with employees’ perception of ESG management in a hotel company and measure significant effects on a hotel company’s competitive advantage by examining literatures dealing with ESG evaluation indexes or domestic and overseas cases and also conducting literature review and positive research targeting those in charge of ESG management in hotel companies. as the main factors of ESG management in hotel companies, governance ethical management, eco-friendly management, socially responsible management, and customer management were suggested, and they were presented to measure the effects of ESG management on competitive advantage. ESG management in hotel companies are found to show strongly positive effects over competitive advantage. The main factors are presented as eco-friendly management, governance ethical management, socially responsible management, and customer management in order.
