딥테크 창업을 위한 전주기 융합형 창업정책 모형에 대한 연구

Global deep-tech startups that use new basic technologies to solve fundamental and serious problems in the world are rapidly increasing in anticipation of a market with tremendous potential. Deep tech start-ups differ greatly from existing start-ups in terms of characteristics such as enormous investment in the early stage for advanced new technology, technology convergence in various fields, and long-term requirements. Due to the nature of deep tech startups, deep tech startup policies need to be differentiated from existing startup policies. However, there is no unicorn company in the deep tech field in Korea, and the deep tech start-up policy is being promoted similarly to the existing start-up policy. In order to advance technology, which is a prerequisite for unicorn companies in the field of deep tech, it is key to support R&D from the preliminary start-up stage. Since the success of a deep tech startup takes a long time, a full-cycle startup policy that supports from the preliminary startup stage to growth support is very important. This study proposes a full-cycle convergence-type start-up policy model considering the characteristics of deep-tech start-ups, such as technological advancement, convergence, and long time required. The full-cycle start-up policy supports all stages, such as discovering excellent technologies in the public sector such as government-funded research institutes for technological advancement, forming a preliminary start-up team, materializing a start-up model, incubating, and starting and growing. The core of convergence start-up policy is the convergence of the start-up team, convergence support contents, and convergence support system. For solid team building, the convergence of excellent research teams and prospective entrepreneurs is important from the pre-entrepreneurship stage. For a large market in the future deep-tech field, convergence-type support such as R&D support, market exploration, and follow-up investment attraction is needed. . The support system should also be convergently supported by research teams, prospective entrepreneurs, private investors, and start-up planning teams throughout the entire life cycle of start-up support.
