초록
This study focuses on the increasing prevalence of telework amid the pandemic-driven surge in remote work. It aims to propose telework wear designs that fulfill workers’ evolving needs while responding to the ongoing expansion of telecommuting. To achieve this, the study investigates several aspects of telework attire, including wearing habits, its impact on work across different age groups, efficiency, and individual attitudes. Based on my findings, I propose six comfortable and practical telework wear designs. These efficient designs inspire a mindset shift among workers that reinforces the separation between work and daily life. They also leverage 3D virtual fitting to align with fashion industry trends and consumer needs. Furthermore, I address the proliferation of telecommuting, heightened interest in remote work attire, telecommuting formats, and the expected benefits of specialized telework wear. Through this study, I aspire to contribute to practical product development for fashion and apparel companies and enhance consumer awareness of telework attire's significance, thereby positively influencing ongoing telework trends.
