연구소기업의 생존결정요인에 대한 연구

연구개발특구내에서 설립·육성되는 연구소기업의 생존에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는 것은 공공연구개발 기술의사업화와 정부 연구개발 성과활용을 측면에서 의미가 있다.분석을 위한 모델은 비례해저드 모형을 활용한 생존분석 방법을 활용하였다. 종속변수는 생존/부도로 하고, 독립변수는 대표자전공, 설립기관지분율, 특허출원 및 등록합계, 벤처기업여부, 총연구개발비, 중점연구분야 등이다. 분석결과 첫째, 대표자의 대학전공은 생존에 정(+)의 영향을 미치치 못하고, 둘째, 외부자본의 유치는 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 셋째, 연구개발지출 규모 및 벤처인증여부는 정(+)의 영향을 미치나 특허 출원·등록은 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 중점 연구분야가 환경·에너지 기술분야(ET)일 경우 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 연구의 대상이 되는 연구소기업이 공공기관에서 스핀오프 되는 여러 벤처기업들과 성격이 유사하다는 점, 최근 중요성이 부각되고 있는 고성장기업의 핵심요인으로 주목받고 있는 첨단기술분야의 초기기업을 분석대상으로 했다는 점, 그리고 국가 연구개발사업의 성과활용과 사업화 성공을제고하기 위한 연구라는 점에서 시사점이 있다.
Abstract
For utilization of the results of R&D, it is meaningful to analyze the factors affecting the survival of research institute companies promoted within special research and development zones(innopolis). As a result, first, the university major field of a representative of the company does not have a positive effect on survival, second, attracting external capital has a positive effect, and third, the size of research and development expenditure and venture certification had a positive effect. But it is not affected by the activity of intellectual property rights. Lastly, when the main research field is environment and energy technology (ET), it was found to have a positive effect. The analysis was conducted on early stage companies in the high-tech field, which are attracting attention as the starting stage of high-growth companies that have recently been highlighted. Ultimately this is a study aimed at improving the utilization of results and commercialization success of national research and development projects.
