This study was conducted to analyze the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management on domestic airline management by dividing the cases of domestic airlines into full-service carriers (FSC) and low-cost carriers (LCC). Prior to this study, literature and data on ESG management analyzed airline cases that changed due to ESG management to find the necessity and detailed management plan of airlines’ ESG management. This study examined the ESG management of FSC and LCC by analyzing and evaluating whether the current airline ESG management is appropriate. This study is meaningful in that it helps establish future research directions by enabling an objective understanding of research related to airline ESG management. In addition, it is necessary to reorganize airlines’ existing ESG management-related disclosure system and unify the disclosure channels to increase airlines’ access to ESG management.
