Purpose: In this study, we aimed to establish analytical criteria for the portrayal of physical therapists and radiological technologists through a TV drama <A Poem a Day> (2018). Methods: The scenes and cultivation effects within the TV drama were examined through an analysis guided by medical-related regulations. Results: A total of five scenes that pertain to the medical-related regulations were identified. These scenes were closely tied to character backgrounds and predominantly revolved around conflicts related to professional discretion. A total of nine scenes related to the lives of medical technicians were identified, which were associated with the lives of both groups and individuals within the medical technician community. The analysis of scenes featuring physical therapists and radiological technologists revealed that out of a total of 14 scenes, 11 scenes were evaluated negatively. Conclusion: Background, catalyst, and conflict are crucial elements for analyzing TV dramas and how the viewers perceive medical professionals. In scenes related to the lives of medical technicians, the ethical goals of both the medical technician community and individuals were reflected. When analyzing professions where professional discretion is legally defined, such as physical therapists and radiological technologists, qualitative content analysis should be conducted based on legal foundations.
