초록
본 연구는 2022년도 칼데콧 상 수상도서 중에서‘Wonder Walkers’(나 진짜 궁금해!)의 AI 시대를 살아갈 유아들에게 공감의 마음, 창안, 능력, 상호작용적 질문 능력을 길러줄 수 있는 적절한 교육방안을 모색하는 데에 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. 그 결과로 첫째,‘Wonder Walkers’(나 진짜 긍금해!)의 의미 탐색은 2022년도 칼데콧 상 수상도서 5권 중 하나로 작가이며 삽화가로 유치원 교사였던 미카 아처는 그림책이 유아들에게 영감을 주는 도구라는 것을 알고 콜라주와 유화를 결합한 독특한 방식으로 작업했다. 26쪽 13개의 그림 장면은 두 쪽에 걸쳐 자연을 한 장면의 그림으로 표현해서 마치 자연을 작가와 함께 관찰하는 시원함과 통쾌함과 기발한 질문으로 상상력을 끌어올려 준다. 둘째, 교육방안을 살펴보면 공감의 마음은 상대방이 슬퍼하면 같이 슬퍼해 주고 기뻐하면 같이 기뻐해 주는 것으로 크게 인지적 공감,과 감정적 공감 능력을 중점적으로 기를 수 있는데 이는 각 장면마다 기발한 질문을 던지고 있기 때문이다. 그리고 창의 능력은 창의적인 아이디어를 만들어내고 창의적인 언어 사용 능력으로 측정할 수 있는데 이를 향상시키는 방법으로는 다양한 장르와 형식의 그림책 텍스트를 읽고 다른 유아들과 아이디어를 공유하고 자신의 생각을 표현함으로써 기를 수 있다. 또한 상호작용적 질문 능력은 구성주의를 근간으로 깊이 읽기를 전개할 수 있는 질문-토의 방식으로 도입-읽은 후-구성놀이질문의 3단계 및 그림책 살피기 질문(추측하기)-그림책 내용 이해 질문-공감하기 질문-상상하기 질문-실천하기 질문-표현하기 질문의 6단계를 통하여 기를 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find an appropriate educational plan to develop empathy, creativity, ability, and interactive questioning skills for infants who will live in the AI era of 'Wonder Walkers' (I'm Really Ccurious!) among the 2022 Caldecott Award-winning books. As a result, first, the search for the meaning of 'Wonder Walkers'(I'm Really Curious!) was one of the five 2022 Caldecott Award-winning books, and Micha Archer, an author, illustrator and kindergarten teacher, worked in a unique way that combined collage and oil painting, knowing that picture books were a tool to inspire young children. On page 26, 13 painting scenes depict nature in two scenes, raising the imagination with the coolness, exhilaration, and ingenious questions of observing nature with the artist. Second, if you look at the educational plan, the heart of empathy is to grieve with the other person when they are sad and to rejoice with them when they are happy, and cognitive empathy and emotional empathy can be developed largely because each scene asks brilliant questions. And creative ability can be measured by creating creative ideas and using creative language, and as a way to improve this, you can cultivate it by reading picture book texts in various genres and formats, sharing ideas with other children, and expressing your thoughts. In addition, interactive questioning ability is based on constructivism and introduced as a question-discussion method that can develop in-depth reading-after-reading- three stages of compositional play questions and looking at picture books (guessing)-It can be raised through six steps: picture book content understanding question-sympathetic question-imagining question-practice question-expressing question.
